World Cup Pool for Nintendo DS!

World Cup of Pool will make its first outing into the interactive games space on the Nintendo DS™ platform in 2008. The deal between Midas Interactive and Matchroom Sport is the first of many new 2008 initiatives from AT Brands – a division of AT New Media - and Matchroom Sport. The game will incorporate teams from all the major Pool nations that have participated in the World Cup of Pool.

The Ministry of Defence has recruited Urban Freeflow, a team of “traceurs”, or professional free runners, for exercises at the marines’ training ground at Lympstone in Devon to teach them such gravity-defying moves as the “kong vault” and “running cat”. The extreme sport, also known as “parkour”, involves breathtaking athletic moves such as vaulting pedestrian barriers and performing stunts off lamp-posts. Urban Freeflow is the leading Worldwide Parkour / Free Running Brand and organisation, promoting exhibitions by experts, as well as holding workshops for youngsters. Urban Freeflow has received sponsorship from Nokia and Adidas – brands that hear early about new youth trends.
