Following a deal brokered by our brands a division we are pleased to announce that one of the 1980’s favorite games, CRYSTAL QUEST, is now available for iPhone and iPod touch from the Apple App Store and has been released by Hands-On Mobile™, the world’s leading developer of connected games and applications.

Gummibär Embraces Whitehouse Leisure

Whitehouse Leisure have signed a deal - brokered by AT's Merchandise division - with Gummybear International Inc & Yazoo Music GbR to become the pan-European licensee for amusement and leisure sector plush for the character Gummibär, which has become hugely popular worldwide through music, ringtones and the internet.

Whitehouse Leisure will produce soft toys in various sizes, with some including a sound chip featuring part of the catchy debut song with the infectious lyrics: “Oh I'm a gummy bear/ Yes I'm a gummy bear/ Oh I'm a yummy jummy funny lucky gummy bear/ Oh I'm a jolly bear cause I'm a gummy bear/ Oh I'm a movin groovin jammin singin gummy bear.”

“We are delighted that Whitehouse Leisure have decided to capitalise upon the popularity of Gummibär,” says Paul Comben, CEO, AT New Media, “Even though the character does not rely upon television, but the very large international audience built through viral marketing.”

GHOSTLIGHT BREAK THE ICE WITH NEW TV LICENSE

AT New Media's Brand division has brokered an exciting new interactive deal between games publisher Ghostlight Ltd and ITV Global Entertainment for the hit TV show - Dancing on Ice. This deal will see the development of the new official video game for the show. The game which is already in development will be released by Ghostlight on Nintendo DS™ and Nintendo Wii™ in Q1 2009. The game is set to become a new global franchise for Ghostlight and a welcome addition to their growing catalogue of premium titles.

LazyTown Appoints Interactive Experts AT New Media

We are proud to announce that LazyTown Entertainment has appointed our Brands division as its specialist worldwide licensing agency and consultancy for the interactive games category, to negotiate licensing agreements with licensees for the LazyTown™ brand and characters.

LazyTown Entertainment is the owner of the globally popular children’s television series LazyTown. LazyTown follows Stephanie – a sweet optimistic girl - who has come to LazyTown from the outside world where she meets a zany mix of kids and grown-ups, including the world’s laziest super-villain, Robbie Rotten. Fortunately for Stephanie, LazyTown is also home to Sportacus, an athletic super-hero who jumps, leaps and flips his way across LazyTown while helping Stephanie navigate between healthy lifestyle choices and easy but unhealthy ones.

Under the agreement, we aim to exploit interactive games opportunities for platforms such as Nintendo Wii® and many more. LazyTown has attracted a very large number of licensees in many countries for a wide range of merchandise. Yet, the brand has yet to be made available in the interactive games category.
